Our wide range of level switches has been designed for use in level monitoring applications for the control of oil or refrigerant in various air conditioning and refrigeration applications. The switches have no moving parts, thus they are particularly suited for monitoring critical media where high reliability is needed.
These level switches use electro-optic infrared technology for their operation.
The switch gives an alarm when low (or high) liquid level is detected.

PLASTIC INFRARED LEVEL SENSORS

 

he optical level switch has been designed for use in level monitoring applications for the control of the liquid presence/absence and can be suitable for a lot of applications. The switch has no moving parts, thus it’s particulary suited for monitoring media where high reliability is needed.
For minimom/maximum level detection the switch must be mounted at the desired height and gives an alarm when low (or high) liquid level is detected

operation mode: detect liquid presence with contact
body materials: Polysulphone (PSU) charged with glass

The optical level switch has been designed for use in level monitoring applications for the control of the liquid presence/absence and can be suitable for a lot of applications due to the wide chemical compatibility assured by the technology of the fused glass dome with the stainless steel body.
The switch has no moving parts, thus it is particularly suited for monitoring critical media where high reliability is needed.
For minimum / maximum level detection the switch must be mounted at the desired height and gives an alarm when low (or high) liquid level is detected.
Other typical applications are pump dry run protection or leakage detection application where the sensor must be mounted in the point where the liquid has to be detected and gives an alarm when the liquid is absent or present.

METALLIC INFRARED LEVEL SENSORS WITH INTEGRATED TEMPERATURE OUTPUT

The optical level switch has been designed for use in level monitoring applications for the control of the liquid presence/absence and can be suitable for a lot of applications due to the wide chemical compatibility assured by the technology of the fused glass dome with the stainless steel body. The switch has no moving parts, thus it is particularly suited for monitoring critical media where high reliability is needed.
For minimum / maximum level detection the switch must be mounted at the desired height and gives an alarm when low (or high) liquid level is detected.
This series of switches incorporates the 4-20mA temperature output in order to be implemented in all the environments in which the temperature must be monitored continuously.

ATEX INFRARED LEVEL SENSORS

The sensor has been manufactured to achieve the ia intrinsically safety, and to work in potential explosive environment – IIC Group – in the T6 (85ºC) temperature class.
The device shall be mounted only by qualified and authorized persons.
Since the sensor primary use is in hazardous location, an appropriate intrinsically safe interface must be used and installed in strict accordance with this technical brochure. Failure to observe this warning could result in serious injury or damages.
